Its not even a common-rail electronic injection engine. Still has a piston injection pump, just a really good one. Of note: Zetor is the first (and so far only) engine manufacturer to get a mechanically injected engine (the 16- valve version of the same 4.2l 4cyl the tier III M ajor 80 like mine has) certified for tier IV emissions comp liance. It has urea injection, which is controlled by a computer, but fuel delivery is fully mechanical. Those Czech engineers know a thing or two about diesel fuel systems.

Ah, good old mechanic pumped. Interesting they run the computer as an add-on to that and haven’t computerized more.. Then again, computer shits the bed, engine will still run.

Atleast it starts easily, even with everything fixed the Massey still is a bitch to start.
